Some of these are basic some are more advanced

.Clean primer pockets and it's also best to use a primer pocket uniformer to get all the pockets the same.

.Only neck size cases you want to keep the case from expanding more than it needs to this will also increase case life.

.Weigh powder charges to 1/10 of a grain

.Slug the barrel for size instructions can be found here.

.Use a good quality bullet it's hard to do good in a match if everything is not the same the same can be said about cases.

.If you must use cheaper bullets then weigh and sort them you can't tell what the runout is but at least you eliminate one variable.

.Case necks should be champhered.

.Case necks should be brushed and no scratches inside the neck.

.Cases should be weighed and sorted

.When priming cases try to use the same seating pressure.

.Seat bullets .020 away from the lands some military rifles this is impossible to do so pick a bullet that is longer and set the length (COL) as long as the bullet will let you.

.When working up a load try the ILDM or Ladder test it will help you find the best powder charge here is the Link

.Try indexing your cases when you shoot them try to always put the case so it is in the same place example: put a mark on the case and chamber it so the mark is up.
A lot of the military rifles do not have perfect chambers so when you do this and also neck size the case you are making a case that fits the same way every time remember the trick is to take away as many variables that you can when you do that you can only blame the Nut behind the trigger.
